Using a thin cut off wheel on my Dremel, I put slots in the adapter nut, These slots bite in the wheel's plastic keeping them from unscrewing themselves. No need for Locktite anymore. This has been bash and race tested. It works. The slots have to be cut cleanly with nice sharp edges.
